travel ban. a federal judge in virginia has issued an injunction to block enforcement of the ban in the commonwealth. the order is not being enforced anywhere right now- as it awaits proceedings in court. but the new ruling from u-s district court alexandria is a more permanent type of injunction than the temporary restraining order issued in the washington state case. we'll have much more coming up in a live report at 5:45. right now at 5:xx we're following breaking news in prince george's county. jummy olabanji is at the live desk larry - that breaking news coming from greenbelt, where police say they arrested four people early this morning at a cvs. it happened around one o'clock this morning at the store on greenbelt road. this is the same store that was robbed less than a month ago. back in january - at least four pharmarices were robbed in both prince george's and montgomery county county. no word yet if this incident is connected. but in this case police say the fou

off with "pharmacueticals" our john gonzalez is on the way and we'll update you as we learn more. we're also following breaking news in the district - a man stabbed multiple times overnight. amazingly d-c police say he was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. this happened just before midnight at an apartment on nicholson street in northwest. dc police have not released any suspect information. an update on a man wanted for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl in falls church last july.. 18-year-old ronald herrera contreras is in custody this morning, after a six-month manhunt. fairfax county police arrested him yesterday. they say he's an illegal alien, and was ordered to leave, but never did. he's charged with rape, abduction, gang activity, and assault and battery. this morning - a principal and assistant principal at west potomac high school are on administrative leave. these photos of principal alex case and assistant principal michll

california's oroville dam. 188-thousand people were evacuated sunday, after a massive hole was discovered in an emergency spillway. that spillway catches excess water when lake oroville's water

now: his son is charged with child sexual abuse. jeffrey sandusky is facing 14 counts- including sexual assault of a child less than 16 years old- along with child porn. the charges date back nearly 4 years. jeffrey sandusky's next hearing is february 22nd. scientists are investigating the deaths of three whales in virginia's hampton roads area. officials believe all three were struck by large ships. two were injured by propellers. the first whale, a humpback, was found dead on february second. a second humpback whale was found dead on february seventh. this past weekend, the third dead whale was discovered on cape henry in virginia beach. one part of the obama white house will stick around under president trump - the vegetable garden. new first lady melania trump says the garden started by michelle obama is staying put. in a statement to cnn, mrs trump said she is committed to the garden's preservation. michelle obama used the garden as part of her platform to fight childhood obesity. seven is on your side with-- truly incredible news about your health.

mayor today. voters elected meyer in a special election last week. he replaces former mayor scott silverthorne who was arrested last year in a meth for sex sting operation. a swearing-in ceremony is set for seven o'clock tonight at fairfax city hall. the trump cabinet has two new members this morning. last night, the senate voted to confirm steven mnuchin as treasury secretary. west virginia senator joe manchin was the only democrat to vote in favor of mnuchin. also approved - david shulkin to head the department of veterans affairs. he was confirmed unanimously. the voting is set to continue this morning, when linda mcmahon will likely be confirmed as head of the small business administration. the position is not formally part of a presidential cabinet, but is often elevated to cabinet-level status.
